Bio

So you want to know more about me, eh? You came to the right place.

I’m a broadcast journalist who reports and anchors news and sports. Over the last nine years I’ve written, edited, produced, shot video, broken stories, helped increase ratings … basically everything but driven the satellite truck (which I would do, although as cautious a driver as I am, I don’t know if I’d make my live shot).

I’ve worked in television since my graduation from Indiana University in 1999, starting in Minneapolis on the sports show “Rosen Sports Sunday”. I can still remember the day, working as an associate producer, I walked right into Michael Jordan right after a Minnesota Vikings game.

I’m not easily awed, but I was that day.

My career’s taken me from there to Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Evansville, Indiana, and now to Louisville. I’ve seen my co-workers walking out with boxes after WEVV shut down its news department; I’ve covered countless Gubernatorial, Senatorial, and other political races; I’ve covered my school’s run to the national title game; tornadoes, presidential visits, trials … basically everything under the tent.

The family brought me up in the Cincinnati suburb of Wyoming, Ohio. Still get back to my hometown frequently.

And yes, I am a Bengals fan. Have been since I was a kid, watching all those horrendous games through the 90’s.

Somehow, after all the losses, I turned out normal … well, as normal as a Bengals fan can be.
